At NewPage, about 70 percent of the ingredients used to manufacture our products by product weight come from renewable resources such as wood fiber, recycled fiber and starch. We continue to conduct research with our supply chain partners to reduce nonrenewable resources in our products.
NewPage is the only company in North America to offer a full spectrum of third-party labeling options on grades ranging from premium coated to supercalendered, to meet varying customer requirements. Each of these grades offer the use of the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) certification logos, as well as 10 to 30 percent recycled content.
NewPage is committed to meeting your current needs and facilitating your long-term competitiveness and prosperity. Our state-of-the-art research center in Biron, Wisconsin, develops products and processes that are both innovative and cost-effective. We’ve introduced new products to the market such as TrueJet® digital coated papers, Sterling® Premium, Arbor® and high-bulk grades in response to customer needs.
